Next SWCLD Scheduled for May 9th

It’s been a little while since our last Canon Discussion.  So Sheldon, Stuart, and I will be hosting the next discussion on Saturday, May 9th, at 1:30 PM EST.  Be there or be a shape with four sides of equal length.

Longest. SWCLD. Ever.

One week ago right now, I think we were still going at it with the Canon Discussion that started around 1:30pm EST.  Yep, that’s how much we had to say.  Granted, most of it was off-topic, and granted, people started dropping off throughout the conversation, but we still had a great time.  I’d like to thank RZion, Shazbazzar, Sheldon, Mandy, the Jawas, LMB, and Murray for a fun, action-packed, and insightful SWCLD.  The discussion MP3 is posted on the Recordings page.

Ooops, my bad!

I was out shopping for cars when yesterday’s Canon Discussion started.  And when it kept going.  And going.  They were still going at close to 3:30pm when I got home and realized that I’d missed it.  I quickly joined in on Skype and we almost immediately started going off topic.  I started recording when I jumped on, so the majority of the content is lost forever.  The recording of what I caught before we wrapped up is posted on the Discussion Recordings page.  We hope to do another Canon Discussion next month.

Back to business

We are finally getting back into the game with another Canon Discussion on February 21 at 1:30PM.  As always, please feel free to let us know on the forums if you have any topic ideas.

We’re currently having a Canon Discussion with Shaz, Sheldon, LMB, RZion, and special guest TallestJawa.  Recording will be up later.

Tech issues, but overall successful

We just finished another Canon Discussion.  It was fun, albeit a bit difficult due to audio dropouts.  I’m editing together the different clips I have and I’ll post it later today.  Thanks to Jack, Sheldon, and Stuart for a great Saturday afternoon.

Next Discussion: be there or be square!

The next Canon Discussion will be held at 1:00 PM EST on Sunday, July 20, 2008 Saturday, July 19, 2008.  We are still working on topics, but we expect that date/time to remain fairly solid.

Another one in the can

Sheldon, Stuart, and I would like to thank Jamit, Bill (RZion), Jack (LMB), and Warhawk for joining us — well, for joining Sheldon and Stuart — in yesterday’s discussion.  I’m listening to the recording right now and it sounds great.  We’ll be talking about the next Discussion very soon.

Discussion Update

Although I (Eric) will be out of town this weekend, we have decided to do a Canon Discussion anyway.  Sheldon and Stuart will be hosting the Discussion on Saturday, June 21st, 2008 at 1:00 PM EST.  The theme has yet to be announced.

Today’s Canon Discussion has been pushed back

We have decided to push back today’s Canon Discussion. Not enough people looked like they would be able to make it today. We like big groups; it gives us a wider range of voices and perspectives. So the next Canon Discussion will be next Saturday, same time, same place has yet to be determined.  I (Eric) will be out of town next Saturday and Sunday, so we’ll need to work out a better time.  It will probably be the weekend of the 28th/29th.
