We Don’t Care About The World Cup

Ghana beat the U.S. in a knockout match of the World Cup in South Africa today. But we didn’t really talk about that match (despite my deep disappointment). Instead, we talked about Star Wars (namely Celebration V) and every other topic under the sun. Thanks to our participants from today, who included Jack Crabtree, Nick Sanchez, Paul DePaola, Ryan Zasso, and Sheldon Norton. I joined the group late, so only partial audio will be available later. If, that is, you have the tenacity to fast-forward through our random discussions to enjoy our profound Star Wars commentary.

What a Blast

Today’s discussion was fantastic. We went for almost four hours and we covered everything from TCW and the EU to why Kyle Newman is just like Emperor Palpatine. A great time was had by all!

One week ago right now, I think we were still going at it with the Canon Discussion that started around 1:30pm EST. Yep, that’s how much we had to say. Granted, most of it was off-topic, and granted, people started dropping off throughout the conversation, but we still had a great time. I’d like to thank RZion, Shazbazzar, Sheldon, Mandy, the Jawas, LMB, and Murray for a fun, action-packed, and insightful SWCLD. The discussion MP3 is posted on the Recordings page.

I was out shopping for cars when yesterday’s Canon Discussion started. And when it kept going. And going. They were still going at close to 3:30pm when I got home and realized that I’d missed it. I quickly joined in on Skype and we almost immediately started going off topic. I started recording when I jumped on, so the majority of the content is lost forever. The recording of what I caught before we wrapped up is posted on the Discussion Recordings page. We hope to do another Canon Discussion next month.
